This could be very good news for Lawrence Taylor, the NFL Hall of Famer who was recently arrested on allegations of raping a 16-year-old girl. FOX's New York affiliate is reporting that a witness came forward with claims that could significantly help the former Giants star in the rape case against him. According to FOX 5 news, a 23-year-old roommate of the alleged victim was waiting in a car outside the Ramapo Holiday Inn the night Taylor was accused of raping the girl. The witness is saying that upon returning to the car, her roommate admitted to her that she did not have sex with Taylor. "She wasn't sad, mad or anything like that. She was like, I guess, just like 'Wow,' she just got paid $300 and didn't have sex with him," the witness reportedly told investigators.
A source also revealed a similar story to the New York Post, stating that the 16-year-old girl actually bragged to a friend about making “easy money” because “I didn’t even have to f— him.” The same source also tells the Post that the witness has given a sworn statement, one that has the girl telling her immediately afterward that the Hall of Famer merely engaged in masturbation before paying her $300.
