Joaquin Phoenix Does Video for PETA on Exotic-Skins Trade
Cold-Blooded Horrors:
Inside the Exotic-Skins Trade.
Find out more at PETA.org.
Golden Globe-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix is supporting PETA in a video that takes a look inside the exotic-skins trade, an industry for which millions of reptiles are slaughtered each year. According to the org website, Joaquin is calling for major fashion houses such as Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo to choose compassion over cruelty by eliminating exotic-skins from their collections. Companies such as Nike, H&M, and Overstock.com have already agreed not to sell these products.
I can't say I will allow myself to watch the video, for I've already gone insane watching similar ones....... however, if you are new to this, please try to watch and then join the pledge by writing to the companies. (towards the bottom of the page)
There is no need for the real skin of these animals.......!!
