Whitney's Acting Whack Again!The pop diva has cancelled tonight's show in Paris due to illness, Reuters reports. The show would have kicked off the European leg of her “Nothing but Love” world tour. Concert organizers released the following statements:
"Whitney is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and after a consultation with her doctors has been advised to postpone her performance,"
"Whitney and her band apologize that the show has to be rescheduled on such short notice."
The cancellation comes at a bad time, considering many fans in Australia were unimpressed with Whitney’s performance down under. News had people walking out of the shows in Sydney and Brisbane after the exhausted singer allegedly butchered her songs with flat notes and coughing fits.
Reuters says that her tour will resume as scheduled in Manchester, Britain, on April 8 and a new date for Paris will be announced shortly.
At this point I think there is enough evidence on the table to suggest that Whitney has indeed relapsed. Her erratic behavior combined with her bizarre public demeanor makes it obvious that she is cuckoo again! It's so unfortunate, but even her sit-down interview with Oprah in September of 09 had us questioning the seriousness of her sobriety.
Hopefully Whitney will do what's right and take some time off to work on her health.
