An intense search effort is underway following the disappearance of a young boy in Portland, Oregon. People.com reported earlier that 7-year-old Kyle Horman was last seen by his stepmother on Friday, June 4th, as he made his way to a classroom at Skyline Elementary school. The two had just visited a science fair, where the second-grader was viewing various projects and showcasing his own. Authorities have recovered a photo (shown above) which shows the 7-year-old smiling in front of his project on the red-eyed tree frog. Terri Horman, Kyron's stepmother, says that at around 8:45 a.m., she left after seeing Kyron walking toward his classroom.
Kyron was last seen wearing dark cargo pants and a black "CSI" shirt.
