Hip-hop artist Kid Cudi was arrested late last night after causing a rather destructive scene at an apartment in NYC's Chelsea neighborhood. The NY Daily News said that the 26-year-old rapper (whose real name is Scott Mescudi) smashed a woman's cell phone against a wall and even pulled the apartment door off its hinges before police arrived around 4:15 A.M. Although it's unclear what caused the tantrum, sources said Mescudi appeared intoxicated. Police also found a glassine envelope of an unknown substance in his front pocket.
The Ny Daily News reported that Kid Cudi has been charged with possession and felony criminal mischief.
