Survivor Producer Named a Suspect in Wife's Death

What began as a Missing Persons report is quickly becoming a full-scale murder investigation. Bruce Beresford-Redman, a former producer of the hit show Survivor, is being detained in Mexico after his missing wife's body turned up in a sewer at a resort where his family was staying, People reports. Monica Beresford-Redman was originally reported missing by her husband after she did not return home from a shopping trip on Monday. According to CBS affiliate KCAL9, a witness at the Moon Palace resort saw the couple arguing on Sunday. According to People, the producer spoke with KCAL-TV in Los Angeles on Wednesday, stating "I'm very hopeful someone will find my wife very soon," and "She still hasn't been located and we're looking."

Beresford-Redman is a three-time Emmy nominee who also produced Pimp My Ride and The Restaurant. His wife owns Zabumba Bar & Restaurant in Venice, California. (People)
